The Committee for Protection and Promotion of Child Rights (CPPCR) was founded in November 2002 in Mae Sot, Thailand, to assist children of migrant parents and stateless children on the Thailand-Myanmar border through birth documentation, child protection, child rights awareness campaigns, and advocacy.

Burmese Migrant Workers Education Committee (BMWEC)
The Burmese Migrant Workers Education Committee (BMWEC) serves as an administrative umbrella for 25 learning centers in Mae Sot. These learning centers receive financial and logistical support through BMWEC and provide access to education for nearly 4,000 children and young people.
